For nearly a year, when Jessica Simpson was becoming sorta well-known, I thought she was a cartoon character — something like Jessica Rabbit guesting in The Simpsons.

Kermit and Miss Piggy (frog and pig)
Gonzo and Clarice (chicken and….I think Gonzo is classified as a “goon”)
Spongebob and Sandy (sponge and squirrel)
Pepe le Pew and that cat with the paint stripe (skunk and cat)
Goofy and his wife in the ’50s shorts (dog and human)
Howard the Duck and Beverly (duck and human)
Donkey and Dragon (from “Shrek”)
Roger Rabbit and Jessica Rabbit (rabbit and human)
Brian (from “Family Guy”) and several girlfriends (dog and human)

I’m getting on the “picky” bandwagon. There is no reason for a beaver to build a dam next to the bank of a pond as appears to be the case here. That appearance may have been dispelled if the colorist got the colors right. And one more: I don’t think beavers live/work in colonies either, just breeding pairs. Which throws further confusion into the gender identity mix.

I can buy a greenish pond, but on “our side” of the dam, I can’t discern where the bank ends and the river bed begins.

Cornbread, the green is the exact same color as the grass. While I’m sure most ponds have some sort of greenish hue, it’s fairly obvious that the colorist didn’t realize that it was supposed to be water.
